VITURE Luma Pro — specification and verdict
The Luma Pro is 79 g, shows 1920×1200 per eye at 52°, and is quoted at up to 1000 nits, which is bright enough to hold a picture in a lit room. It also carries a myopia dial down to −4.0D, which spares a good share of users a prescription insert.
There is nothing on the glasses to deploy to: they take the image over USB-C and any spatial behaviour comes from VITURE's application on the connected device. Note that retail listings advertising 6DoF are not supported by VITURE's own specification, which states 3DoF.
The pick of this class for reading and viewing comfort, particularly for anyone who wears glasses. Still a monitor: no camera, no fleet management, and no path to putting a training application on it.

Who this device is for
The Luma Pro is a display for a phone or laptop: 79 g, 52 degrees and 1000 nits over USB-C, with an electrochromic dimming layer so the screen holds up against a bright room. It suits watching, reading and a second screen on the move — not training, since it runs nothing of its own.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against the XREAL One it is brighter at 1000 nits against 600 and slightly wider at 52 degrees against 50, and it has no on-board anchoring chip, so screen stability depends on the software at the other end. Against VITURE's own Beast it is the older and dimmer of the two.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
No camera, no on-board application platform, no device management and no microphone in our data. Our courses do not run on it. Everything depends on the connected device, including battery life, and 3DoF means the screen follows your head unless the host software pins it.

- What does electrochromic dimming do on display glasses?
- It darkens the lenses electronically so the projected image keeps its contrast in a bright room, instead of being washed out by what is behind it. On birdbath optics that is the difference between a usable screen on a train in daylight and a grey one.
- Can you work on documents in VITURE Luma Pro glasses?
- For a single document or a code window, yes — a 52-degree field of view is a large screen a couple of metres away. For several windows side by side it is cramped, and the resolution is a laptop screen's worth spread across that view, so long text work is more tiring than on a monitor.
