Skillsive

For whoever owns training records

VR training reports you can show at an audit

When someone asks whether a person was trained, you have the answer in seconds. Skillsive records every session with its score, duration and lesson history, and a PDF report or spreadsheet is one click away.

Who it's for

Proof that training happened and worked

An attendance sheet says someone was there. Safety and HR teams need to know what that person did in the scenario, how they scored and when. Skillsive captures it automatically, so nobody retypes data from paper.

  • EHS & compliance managers

Produce audit-ready proof that mandatory training happened and what the results were.

  • Operations & plant managers

Compare readiness across teams, shifts and sites using the same objective metrics.

  • HR & L&D teams

Measure training effectiveness with real performance data instead of sign-off sheets.

What it looks like in practice

A completion in Skillsive is more than a tick next to a name. It records who trained, on which course and application, on which headset, in what language, when it started and finished, how long it took, what score was reached and how far the person actually got.

From there you can drill into a single completion: the lessons attempted, each attempt marked as passed or not passed, the skills acquired, and measured statistics compared against their target values. That is the difference between proving attendance and proving competence.

How it works

  1. Step 1: The training runs

A trainee identifies themselves on the headset and completes the scenario. Sessions run without a trainee selected are recorded as guest sessions, so demo runs never pollute your records.

  2. Step 2: The completion lands in the panel

Score, progress, duration, start and finish time, device, language and country arrive automatically — including sessions completed offline, which upload as soon as the headset reconnects.

  3. Step 3: You filter and drill down

Narrow the list by course, application, status, date range or trainee, then open a completion to see the lesson history, attempts, acquired skills and measured statistics.

  4. Step 4: You export the evidence

Download the filtered table as CSV or XLSX, or generate a PDF training report — including an OHS report — for a single completion.

What you get in the panel

  • Completions table

Trainee, course, application, status, score, progress, device, start and finish time, duration, language and country, plus whether a certificate has already been issued.

  • Filters that match how you work

Filter by course, application, completion status and date range, or search for a single trainee — then export exactly what you filtered, not the whole database.

  • Lesson-by-lesson history

The latest result per lesson and the full attempt history, each marked passed or not passed, so you can see precisely where a person struggles.

  • Skills and measured statistics

Scenarios that measure skills report them as acquired skills, and statistics are shown as the achieved result against the target — objective data instead of a sign-off sheet.

  • PDF reports

Generate a training report for a completion, or an OHS report, in the language you choose — ready to hand to an inspector or file in an employee's records.

  • Per-person and per-device views

Open a trainee to see all their completions and certificates in one place, or open a headset to see everything that was trained on it.

What it gives you

  • Audit-ready proof that mandatory training happened, with dates and results
  • Objective assessment data from the scenario, not just attendance
  • Exports in CSV and XLSX so the data lands in HR systems and spreadsheets
  • Spot skill gaps early and target refresher training where it is needed
  • Offline sessions are included as soon as the headset syncs — nothing is lost
  • Guest sessions stay separate, so demonstrations never distort the numbers

Frequently asked questions

What data does a completion contain?
Who trained, on which course and application, on which headset, in what language and country, when it started and finished, how long it took, the score and the progress — plus the certificate status if one was issued.
Can I export the data?
Yes. The completions table exports to CSV or XLSX with your filters applied, so you can attach it to audit documentation or process it in your own tools.
Is there a report I can hand to an inspector?
Yes. For any completion you can generate a PDF training report and an OHS report in the language of your choice.
Are results from offline training included?
Yes. Sessions completed offline are stored on the headset and appear in the reports as soon as the device reconnects and syncs.
What happens to sessions run without selecting a trainee?
They are recorded as guest sessions. If you need every completion attributed to a person, turn guest play off in the device settings.
Can I see the results of one specific person or headset?
Yes. A trainee's page lists all their completions and certificates, and a device's page shows the training sessions run on that headset together with its activity chart.
