Before you download courses in the headset, the EHS Academy app must be signed into your Skillsive organization. You do it with the code shown inside the headset.
What you need
An account with access to the organization, a Meta Quest headset with EHS Academy, stable Wi-Fi, and access to Organization → Devices in the panel.
Before you start
Code login connects one EHS Academy app session with a device record in your organization. This lets Skillsive know which headset runs trainings, when it was last active, and whether it uses a seat in the subscription.
If you are setting up a headset for the first time, create a new device during code login. If the headset was already added before, select the existing device.
Keep the app open
The code and authorization session expire. Do not close EHS Academy or let the headset sleep until authorization is finished in the panel.
Step 1 — open EHS Academy in the headset
- 1Put on the headset and make sure it is connected to Wi-Fi.
- 2Open EHS Academy.
- 3If the app is not installed yet, download it from the Meta Store: EHS Academy on Meta Store.
- 4On the login screen, note the code shown in the center.
Step 2 — enter the code in Skillsive
- 1In the browser, open Organization → Devices.
- 2Expand Sign In By Code.
- 3Enter the code from the headset and click Continue.
If the code is valid, the panel moves to device selection. At this point Skillsive already knows the model recognized by the app, so the list may show only devices matching that model.
Step 3 — select or create a device
Choose one option:
- Use an existing device — when this headset was already added to the organization. Select the device and click Use Selected Device.
- Create New Device — when you are setting up a new headset. Click Create New Device, complete the form, and save it.
When you create a device, you mainly fill in country, name, color, and number. These fields help identify the headset later in the app and in the panel. The details are covered in What the device fields mean.
Be careful with existing devices
If you select a device that is currently used by this app on another headset, that session may be signed out. Use an existing device only when you are really reconfiguring the same headset.
Step 4 — confirm authorization
The panel shows a summary: organization, selected device, and headset session details.
- 1Check that the organization and selected device are correct.
- 2Click Confirm Authorization.
- 3Wait for the success message.
If the details are wrong, reject the authorization and start again with a fresh code from the headset.
Step 5 — return to the headset
Put the headset back on and click the button under the code. The app should continue to course selection or download.
Done
The headset is signed into the organization. You can now download courses in EHS Academy. During downloads, do not turn the headset off and do not let it go to sleep.
What next
- If the code expired or the panel shows an error, see Headset code login does not work — what to check.
- If you configure several headsets, give them different colors and numbers. This makes it much easier to identify which headset is used in the training room.
